Townland Survey
In this section the text for each townland is taken from the Townland Survey as collected by Fr. Corcoran, P.P. in the 1930s and published in the County Louth Archaeological Journal. The map grid reference nos. (e.g.F 1) refer to sketch maps, which are only available in the journals as of mid '05. Although e.g. Dunbin is no longer in the parish, it formed part of the survey because of historical links (both parishes were joined in the year 1444 A.D.)
