Name etc.?: You said which was where or what's in a name? Kilkerley is offically known as Kilcurly on O.S. maps while in Irish it is known as Cill Choirle (Coirle's church). Even though it does not cause many problems, there is also another name in Irish, Cill Chomhairle which appears on the signposts. It is situated 3 miles to the west of Dundalk in Co Louth, Ireland (there is not much dispute about that!) Please click the Louth Holidays site on the links page to see where we are on a map.
